MikroTik RouterOS

Connect MikroTik to DIAMODA.

Overview of the supported onboarding workflow for a MikroTik HotSpot site.

Important: Do not paste unknown RouterOS scripts into a production router. Back up your MikroTik configuration before making changes. Customer-specific RADIUS secrets are provided separately and should never be published or shared publicly.

Connection workflow

Typical MikroTik onboarding

Back up RouterOS

Create both a RouterOS backup and configuration export before changing hotspot settings.

Register the site

Your MikroTik hotspot is registered as an authorized DIAMODA site/NAS.

Configure RADIUS

Apply the site-specific RADIUS server address, NAS identity and secret supplied during onboarding.

Connect HotSpot

Configure the MikroTik HotSpot profile to use the approved authentication workflow.

Captive portal

The MikroTik hotspot login flow must be configured to work with the site's DIAMODA portal and authentication method. Portal files and values can vary by deployment.

Verification

After configuration, test with a temporary voucher and confirm authentication, accounting and logout behavior before issuing production vouchers.

We are intentionally not publishing a universal RouterOS script containing production server secrets. Contact DIAMODA when your customer account/site is ready and we can provide the appropriate onboarding values.
